A Celebration of Friends and Family.

We were Blessed once again with a glorious sunny mild day for Families and Friends to gather at Pioneer Camp for a day of fellowship and good food.

Some came to enjoy sliding on the hill, some came to visit, and some came to enjoy the sleigh rides. Thank you to the Teamsters who came out with their great temas and sleighs. This is what makes Cowboy Trail Church such a wonderful group.

August 28 was the day for our Partners and two from James River Cowboy Church to delclare before family, friends, and their obedience to our Lord. The  day was cool, but the sun came out long enough for the ceremony at the river, before the clouds closed in again.

The 2016 Cochrane Labour Day Parade was a huge success once again for the CTC Crew. We had Bryn's team of mules, and Taylor's wonderful carriage as well as some outriders. Unfortunately there were very few photos taken. If anyone has more that we can add to this page, please let us know, and we can add them.

The weather this summer has  not been very summer like, but the sun shone on the parade so there were lots of smiles from all.

September 11 saw CTC host the largest number of competitors to date at the Bearspaw Rodeo Arena, west of Cochrane. competitors ever, ranging from the very young who rode with their parents, to those who make a living working cattle.  We started at 11:00 featuring the kids class. Then at noon we enjoyed our traditional Pot Luck, and once everyone had enjoyed the amazing variety of food, the afternoon competitions started with gusto.  There were some great prizes , all of which were donated.donated.  Enjoy the day in pictures.

Some said that the 2016 was the BEST ever. Judging by the array of talent and participation it was certainly an event that we totally enjoyed.

The best part was that there were children to sing for us. Thank you to the Moms and Aunties for teaching the little ones the songs.
