WOW ! NINE Years ! Take a look at our unique way of marking the occasion. It has become tradition to try and "Out Dress our Pastor. Have a look at some of the lovely ensembles that were carefully put together to participate in this special evening.

 

How much fun can Family Day be ??? Each year there are more and more folks who have heard about the great day we enjoy on this day.The Sleigh bells were jingling as the six teams and sleighs made their rounds taking the various groups on an winter adventure. The teams were busy all day, pulling sleighs full of smiling, happy people. Everyone wanted to ride behind the mules. Thank you to all the fine folks who brought teams and sleighs to spend the day with us.Some came for the friendship and to enjoy the day with family and friends and met new friends.Some spent the whole day sliding down the hill on whatever they could find, or feasted on roasted hot dogs cooked on the outside fireplace.Then there was the Great Hockey Challenge. Once again, CTC challenged the Bergen Church to play for Lord Eglon's Cup. Played with willow sticks and a horse "puck", the game was fast and furious, with CTC coming out the winner! I don't think anyone else wants to take home "The Cup"!!We have many, many photos, but can only share a few. Take a tour, and then mark this day on your calendar for next year. It may be one of the best things you can do with your family.

 

July 13 saw us gathered at Dee's place for an outdoor afternoon of fun, fellowship and not too intense "competition". We had the usual complement of Border Collies, as well as some Black Mouth Cur puppies, a Boxer, and two German Shepherds, as well as Host Dogs Tangee and Hogan. A great time was had by all on a very hot day. The sheep were pretty wooly, so they did not get used much. Children played, and ran the obstacle course, and provided great entertainment for all. The day was capped off with a delicious pot luck supper, before everyone pitched in and helped to put things away.

 

August 24 saw an absolutely beautiful day for two of our Partners to declare before family, friends, and God, their obedience to Christ. To start, Bryn needed to don the appropriate clothing for the occasion. Help was needed.

 

The 2014 Cochrane Labour Day Parade was a huge success once again for the CTC Crew. We had Bryn's team of mules, and Taylor's wonderful carriage as well as some outriders. Unfortunately there were very few photos taken. If anyone has more that we can add to this page, please let us know, and we can add them.

 

September 14 was a perfect day for the annual Ugly Ranch Horse Competition at the Bearspaw Rodeo Arena, west of Cochrane. The participation was enthusiastic and everyone had a great day ! We started at noon with our traditional Pot Luck, and once everyone had enjoyed the amazing variety of food, the afternoon competitions started with gusto. We had five very eager youngsters who rode with confidence, and impressed everyone with their skills. This page will feature a lot of "kids" photos, and not so many of the adults. All the kids also were presented with great prizes, which were donated. Enjoy the day in pictures.

 

What a wonderful reason to gather together.. We celebrated the Christmas Story in Song, with presentations by the children and others as well. We also enjoyed the company of friends and family, treated each other to fellowship, food and another amazing Artisans display.Of course there were children to sing for us. Thank you Amy for teaching the little ones the songs.
